ANOC Legal Commission meets in Lausanne
The ANOC Legal Commission met for the first time of 2019 at the ANOC headquarters in Lausanne on Friday 12 April
The meeting was led by Legal Commission Chair Michael Chambers, who, after the call to order, facilitated brief introductions for each of the new members.
The Commission began by reviewing the newly-formed ANOC Ethics Commission Terms of Reference and Procedural Rules and considered any provisions that ought to be added.
Eligibility Conditions forms and Consent forms for the ANOC World Beach Games were also reviewed.
The Commission also met with representatives from the IOC Legal Department regarding matters related to Rule 40.3 of the Olympic Charter of interest to NOCs.
The Commission concluded by considering legal issues of NOC interest in each of the continents and suggested amendments to the ANOC Constitution.
