MALAWI OLYMPIC COMMITTEE SET FOR THE NEXT “SPORTS ADMINISTRATION COURSE”
Malawi Olympic Committee is set for the next Sports Administration Course which will be held in different parts of the country. The course will target people from all walks of life and is set to equip the participants with knowledge and understanding grounded in the sports sector both country and world wide.
Ms. Flora Mwandira, the Vice President of the NOC and also the National Course Director, said that this course helps to develop sports in the country through Associations and Stakeholders for better sports administrators and better athlete support.
The course has been scheduled to take place in the districts of Dedza, Blantyre and Lilongwe. Dedza has been targeted because it is one of the districts noticed by participating in different kinds of sport. In Dedza, it has been scheduled to take place from 15-19 July, 2018 and 30 July-3 August 2018 in Blantyre and Lilongwe.
The course is funded by the International Olympic Committee through Olympic Solidarity and Malawi Olympic Committee.
