ANOCA initiates programme to support African NOCs at Tokyo 2020
The Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) has launched a programme to support African NOCs and their athletes at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The purpose of the programme is to enhance opportunities for African NOCs to win medals at the upcoming Games.
ANOCA has organised a workshop for NOCs in Africa zone three in Ougadougou, Burkina Faso which was attended by Ghana, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote d’ Ivoire, Liberia, Nigeria, Niger and Togo.
ANOCA will also fund and organise a three-month training camp for athletes from Africa who qualify for Tokyo 2020.
