ANOC Welcomes Delegation of NOC Representatives as Part of the 6th IOC Immersion Stay Programme

On 3 December, ANOC had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation of National Olympic Committee representatives participating in the 6th edition of the IOC Immersion Stay Programme. ANOC Secretary General, Ms. Gunilla Lindberg, was delighted to receive:

      •     Ms. Evelyn Akaba, Ghana Olympic Committee

      •     Ms. Novelette Harris, Jamaica Olympic Association

      •     Mr. Ibrahim Shifaz, Maldives Olympic Committee

      •     Ms. Koeun Yoo, Korean Sport & Olympic Committee

      •     Mr. Daniel Tanti Farrugia, Maltese Olympic Committee

      •     Mr. Candost Alkislar, Turkish Olympic Committee

      •     Ms. Janice Merep, Palau National Olympic Committee

The delegation was accompanied by Ms. Joelle Simond and Mr. Nodar Margvelashvili from the IOC NOC Relations Department.

This visit provided an excellent opportunity to exchange on key initiatives developed by ANOC in support of NOCs worldwide. Discussions highlighted ongoing projects and services, including the NOC Uniform Programme, from which the Maltese Olympic Committee will soon benefit, as well as the recent operational support provided in Riyadh during the Islamic Solidarity Games, where the Turkish Olympic Committee was among the principal users of ANOC’s services.
