ANOC Digital Accelerator Program
Empowering National Olympic Committees through Digital Innovation

Launched in 2020, the ANOC Digital Accelerator Programme supports National Olympic Committees (NOCs) in their digital development and transformation. The programme was designed to provide practical, scalable and sustainable digital solutions adapted to the realities of NOCs worldwide.

Initially focused on online workshops, webinars and the creation of digital guidelines, the programme quickly expanded to include new services such as digital content production, broadcasting solutions and strategic partnerships with leading digital actors. Webinars and Digital Workshops
Supporting Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building

The ANOC Digital Accelerator Programme delivers a structured series of webinars and digital workshops designed to support NOCs in developing their digital skills and understanding emerging trends.

Led by industry experts and ANOC partners, these sessions cover key topics such as digital communication, content strategy, social media best practices and innovation within sport. They also provide a valuable platform for NOC representatives to share practical insights, experiences and lessons learned with peers from across the Olympic Movement.

Supporting NOCs Before and After the Olympic Games

Ahead of each Olympic Games edition, including Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024, ANOC delivered Social Media Handbooks designed for beginner, intermediate and expert users. These resources help NOCs establish clear communication standards, optimise platform-specific content and enhance engagement during the Games period.

Following each Summer and Winter Olympic edition, ANOC produces Social Media Games Performance Reports highlighting key trends, digital outcomes and examples of NOCs that performed strongly across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and Facebook.

By sharing best practices and showcasing successful strategies, these reports provide valuable learning opportunities for other NOCs to apply in future Games cycles and improve their overall digital performance.

Social Media Account Validation
Strengthening Trust and Official Recognition

Through the ANOC Digital Accelerator Programme, ANOC supports National Olympic Committees in securing official social media verification (blue tick) across Meta platforms, (Instagram and Facebook).

This service helps NOCs strengthen credibility, protect their digital identity and ensure audiences can easily recognise official accounts. To date, ANOC has successfully supported the verification of over 60 NOC social media accounts and will continue this work and consider expanding the service to National Federations.

Connecting International Federations and NOCs Through Content

The ANOC Digital Content Hub is a dedicated platform designed to facilitate the exchange of communication content between International Federations (IFs) and National Olympic Committees (NOCs).
