ANOC launches NOC social media dashboard

ANOC today launched its NOC social media dashboard in order to allow NOCs to easily access and analyse their social media performance.

The digital dashboard, which can be found on the ANOC website here, tracks NOC performance across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. The simple and user friendly dashboard allows NOCs to monitor their performance across a number of different metrics including engagement rate, views and growth rate. NOCs are also able to filter results in order to compare themselves against other NOCs from their continents.

Acting ANOC President Robin Mitchell said:

“We are delighted to launch the social media dashboard and to provide NOCs with easily accessible and regularly updated data. Social media is a critical means for NOCs to engage with fans in their countries and to spread the Olympic values. ANOC is therefore committed to supporting NOCs by not just equipping them with the tools to improve their social media performance but also, through the dashboard, allowing them to track their own progress.”

The publication of the dashboard, comes as part of ANOC’s partnership with Redtorch to develop a programme that will help NOCs improve their social media performance over the next 12 months. The next stage of this partnership will be the delivery of a social media toolkit which contains advice, guidance and a checklist of items for each NOC to implement, with a view to improving social media performance and amplifying impact.

To coincide with the launch of the dashboard, ANOC has also further updated its NOC directory to ensure all NOC social media platforms are linked to each NOC page on the ANOC website and can be easily accessed.
