ANOC MOURNS LOSS OF ALEXANDER B CHAPMAN

ANOC was saddened to learn that Mr. Alexander B Chapman, former President of Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee, has died at the age of 93.

Mr. Chapman was one of the longest serving sport administrators within the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee, having served as Secretary General (1964 – 1988) and President (1989 – 1997) over the course of 33 years. His contribution and service to the Olympic and Commonwealth Sports Movements was immense and his tireless work was felt across  Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean region, the Americas and the Commonwealth.

Mr. Chapman leaves behind a lasting legacy and he will be greatly missed.
