ANOC provide updates to EOC General Assembly in Budapest
ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg and Director of NOC Relations Gustavo Harada provided an update on ANOC’s activities to the 55th European Olympic Committees General Assembly in Budapest, Hungary on Friday.
The Secretary General highlighted the wide breadth of services that ANOC has provided to NOCs over the past 15 months, particularly its work at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 through the NOC photo programme, developed in partnership with the IOC and Getty Images.
Following two days of Milano Cortina 2026 debrief sessions held between ANOC, the IOC, the French Alps 2030 OCOG and 15 representatives of NOCs, Lindberg gave an overview of the feedback received and the key learnings OCOGs must consider for future Games.
Harada went into further detail on the inaugural edition of the PEAK Uniform programme during Milano Cortina 2026, where two NOCs qualified, before emphasising the growth for the Youth Olympic Games Dakar 2026, where 49 NOCs will utilise the programme.
Delegates were also provided information on planning for the XVIII ANOC General Assembly in Hong Kong, China in December, including details on nominations for the ANOC presidency ahead of the elections.
