ANOC receives Sustainability Toolbox Impact Award 2026 for NOC Sustainability Dashboard
ANOC has been awarded the Sustainability Toolbox Impact Award 2026 in the Sport category, recognising its commitment to advancing sustainability across the Olympic Movement through practical initiatives, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
The award highlights the NOC Sustainability Dashboard, jointly developed and launched by ANOC and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in April 2026. Designed to support the 206 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) worldwide, the Dashboard provides a practical tool to measure sustainability performance, identify areas for improvement and encourage concrete action.
Through a dedicated scoring system, the Dashboard enables NOCs to benchmark their sustainability progress against peers, including NOCs of similar sizes, and track improvements over time. Each participating NOC also receives tailored recommendations from ANOC and the IOC, identifying priority actions to further strengthen its sustainability efforts.
Beyond measuring performance, the platform promotes knowledge sharing by providing access to sustainability strategies, procurement policies, nature conservation projects and other initiatives implemented by NOCs around the world. These resources allow NOCs to learn from one another and build on existing good practices.
The initiative builds on Step 8 of the The Toolbox framework, “Report and Communicate”, transforming sustainability reporting into an opportunity for continuous improvement, informed decision-making and collaboration across the Olympic Movement.
Following the second data-collection cycle, updated Dashboard results are expected to be released later this month, allowing NOCs to begin tracking their sustainability progress over time.
ANOC thanks The Toolbox for this recognition, which reinforces the importance of providing NOCs with accessible tools and practical support to advance sustainability within their organisations.
NOCs are encouraged to explore the Dashboard and request access through the ANOC Sustainability Dashboard webpage.
