Delegation of NOC Brazil visits ANOC Office in Lausanne

On 15th March, the ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg welcomed the President of the Brazilian Olympic Committee, Mr. Paulo Wanderley and the Director of Communications, Mr. Paulo Conde, to the ANOC office in Lausanne.

They discussed things of common interest like the ANOC World Beach Games where the Brazilian NOC has qualified 67 athletes and will be one of the biggest delegations, Brazil ended up on 2nd place beaten by Spain at the first ANOC World Beach Games in Doha in 2019.

Other matters discussed were the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024 and the logistics for hotel accommodation, training camps etc.

Most of the NOCs have a very heavy working schedule in 2023 where also the Continental Games and Youth Games taking place.

ANOC Secretary General confirmed ANOC’s strong support in the preparations for the upcoming games as well as promoting the cooperation between the NOCs through seminars and other meetings.
