On 13-15 August 2023, the world’s National Olympic Committees (NOCs) will convene once again for this year’s ANOC General Assembly.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Bali following the 2nd ANOC World Beach Games, the General Assembly will feature updates from ANOC, the IOC and Organising Committees as well as plenty of opportunities for NOCs to share best practices and voice their opinions.

With delegates from all Olympic stakeholders in attendance, the ANOC General Assembly will again serve as a unifying force and provide a high-level forum for discussions on the most pressing issues facing the NOCs and Olympic family.

Following last year’s success, the ANOC Theme Sessions will return on the third day of the General Assembly providing further opportunities for knowledge exchange and interactive discussions.

The ANOC Awards will not take place this year after the ANOC Executive Council decided the premier event will take place on a biennial basis to coincide with the Olympic Games.

Many NOCs attending the General Assembly will be doing so on the back of the ANOC World Beach Games which takes place 5-12 August and is expected to draw more than 1,000 athletes from over 100 countries. Read more about the Games on the official website.
