Andrey Kryukov appointed as interim Secretary General of NOC Kazakhstan
Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan (NOC Kazakhstan) for International Cooperation Andrey Kryukov has been appointed interim Secretary General of the organization by the order of the President of NOC Kazakhstan.
On May 6, Saken Mussaibekov, who previously held the post of Secretary General, was appointed Vice-Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan. Kryukov will therefore perform the duties of Secretary General until the next General Assembly of NOC Kazakhstan.
Kryukov has been Vice President for International Cooperation of NOC Kazakhstan since 2015. In addition, he is currently also a member of the FINA Bureau, a member of the Foundation Board of the World Anti-Doping Organization (WADA), a member of the Medical Commission of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), a member of the Rules Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), and Vice President of the Asia Swimming Federation (AASF).
