NOC of Portugal to coordinate training session of Empowering Youth Volunteers through Sport
The Olympic Committee of Portugal (COP) participated in the 5th coordination meeting of the Empowering Youth Volunteers through Sport in the Mediterranean Region ( EYVOL ) project, funded by the European Union under the ERASMUS + program.
At the meeting held in virtual format and attended by Joana Gonçalves and João Pedro Maltez on behalf of the COP, the consortium focused on updating the last semester of the project and the recently developed resources, namely the educational program, the self- assessment, guidance and recommendations document (policy paper), dissemination and treatment of results, management and coordination. Information was also provided regarding the next project meeting and final conference.
With the creation of the eight modules of the project’s educational program completed, the COP is now responsible for coordinating and conducting a training session that will be aimed at young leaders and volunteers in sport, to take place on the 12th of April.
