The National Olympic Committee of Iraq and the Turkish Olympic Committee signed a sports cooperation agreement.

The decision to sign such an agreement for the mutual benefit of both organisations was made during a meeting between the President of Iraq NOC, Mr Raad Hammoodi, and his Turkish counterpart, Prof. Ugur Erdener.
