Timor Leste NOC President re-elected at NOC General Assembly
Francisco Kalbuadi Lay was re-elected as President of the Timor Leste National Olympic Committee at its 5th Electoral General Assembly on 14 June 2022.
President Lay will serve for a four year term between 2022-2026. He thanked the 21 National Federations in attendnae for their trust and support.
He acknowledged the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact it has had on the implementation on a number of planned initiatives but praised the NOC for sending athletes to Tokyo 2020.
