CONTINENTAL ATHLETES’ FORUM IN PUNTA CANA TO BE BROADCAST LIVE ON PANAM SPORTS CHANNEL
From November 21 to 23, the Panam Sports Athletes’ Forum will be held in the Dominican Republic with the participation of the 41 member countries of the Pan American Sports Organization.
Mental Health, Post Career Opportunities, Personal Branding, Artificial Intelligence, Safe Sport and several other topics of interest are considered for this meeting. Find out here about all the speakers and their topics.
Punta Cana, November 20, 2024 – Punta Cana dresses up to receive all the representatives of the continent´s athletes for the third edition of the Panam Sports Athletes Forum.
The Dominican Republic is the third venue of this renowned Forum, after the previous editions held in Miami and Cancun.
For this year and as in previous forums, more than 20 speakers will give life to this event that has the support of Solidaridad Olímpica.
Among the guests invited to this Forum are great figures of the world of sport. Such is the case of the double Olympic champion from the Dominican Republic, Félix Sánchez, the triple Olympic medalist from Colombia, Mariana Pajón, and the great female champion of Mexican diving, Alejandra Orozco.
The Forum will also be attended by sports and government authorities from the host country and the full Executive Board of Panam Sports.
“We are very happy and eager to open this III Panam Sports Athletes’ Forum. A paradisiacal place, great speakers and a spectacular response from all the Athletes’ Commissions of the Olympic Committees that are members of our organization, give us reasons to dream that this event will be a great success. We want the “Voice of the Athletes” to continue to be heard loudly in the continent and around the world,” said Panam Sports President Neven Ilic, who is already in the Dominican Republic.
Among the topics to be discussed at this forum are Mental Health, Personal Branding, Sustainability, Financing and Support for Athletes’ Commissions, Anti-Doping, Athletes’ Career Transition, and many other themes of interest for the athletes of the continent.
