Olympic Solidarity Commission meeting held in Lausanne
The Olympic Solidarity Commission met on 9 November 2021 in Lausanne under the chairmanship of Dr. Robin Mitchell, Chairperson of Olympic Solidarity Commission and Acting President of ANOC.
During the meeting the Continental Associations and ANOC presented their reports on their activities over the past year.
The proposals of the Continental Associations and ANOC for the utilisation of the remaining funds from the 2017-2020 programmes and budget were also presented.
The Olympic Solidarity Commission examined the results of the first year of the 2021-2024 Olympic Solidarity Plan concerning the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, the Continental Programmes of the Continental Associations and ANOC and the World programmes.
During the meeting, there were also discussions on the objectives for 2022 concerning the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022, the alignment of the IOC’s Olympism 365 strategy with the OS Values programme and the Olympic Refuge Foundation and the Refugee Olympic Team.
The Olympic Solidarity Commission also presented the modification of the 2021 Budget and approved the budget for 2022.
