Latvian Olympic Committee creates Olympic Friends Club

The Latvian Olympic Committee has created the Olympic Friends Club where Olympic fans can meet, support athletes, participate in creative and sports activities, and earn points and win prizes.

The club has been created in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Latvian Olympic Committee. Anyone can register to become a member of the club, both individually and together with their school class..There are three types of Olympic friends – bronze, silver and gold, and each of these levels can be achieved by accumulating points.

Points can be accumulated through testing your Olympic knowledge by answering questions about the history and success of the Latvian Olympic Committee and Latvian Olympians

There are also a sereies of sports challenges: run a hundred or 100 kilometers in a month. Run the Olympic Circles, where you are invited to run or walk the outline of the Olympic Circles on the map.
