ANOC concludes successful engagements at SportAccord 2024
ANOC’s successful presence at SportAccord 2024 drew to a close today following four days of productive meetings with stakeholders from across the Olympic Movement.
This year’s SportAccord was the first in which ANOC had a booth and led by ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg, the ANOC team took full advantage of their presence at the event.
ANOC officially launched its sponsorship and exhibitor programme for the 2024 ANOC General Assembly in Cascais and engaged in discussions with a number of potential partners interested in the opportunities available.
A number of National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and host cities expressed interest in hosting future ANOC events including General Assemblies, Seminars and the ANOC World Beach Games.
In addition to meeting with NOCs, ANOC met with International Federation (IF) leaders to discuss strengthening ANOC’s strong existing relationships.
Among those ANOC met with were future ASOIF President and International Equestrian Federation President (FEI) Ingmar De Vos, and SportAccord, World Archery and Turkish Olympic Committee President Ugur Erdener. ANOC also took the opportunity to discuss with IFs opportunities around expanding the distribution of their video content through ANOC.tv.
