First AI Workshop Marks a Milestone in ANOC’s Digital Accelerator Program
The first workshop in ANOC’s new series on artificial intelligence (AI) was held today bringing together more than 180 participants from 70 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) across five continents. This inaugural event also welcomed the participation of representatives from continental associations and Athletes’ Commissions.
A Successful Introduction to AI and Its Tools
Titled “An introduction to AI and AI Tools,” the first workshop offered an enlightening perspective on the opportunities AI provides for NOCs. Participants explored key concepts and AI tools that can enhance their daily operations with the number of attendees reflecting the growing interest in these technologies.
An Ambitious Series of AI Workshops
This first event is the beginning of a broader initiative with four additional workshops set to be held every two weeks, each focusing on a practical application of AI:
- Streamlining Communications with ChatGPT (February 4, 2025): Learn how to simplify and enhance communications using powerful AI tools.
- Excel at Marketing with ChatGPT (February 18, 2025): Maximize the impact of marketing campaigns through AI-powered strategies.
- Content Creation with ChatGPT (March 4, 2025): Create impactful content for various communication channels.
- Advanced Uses of ChatGPT (March 18, 2025): Explore advanced use cases and integrations with other systems.
A Promising Momentum for NOCs
The strong turnout for this first workshop highlights the growing importance of AI in supporting NOCs’ activities. These events will provide participants with the tools and skills to boost efficiency, spark creativity and maximise their digital impact.
This workshop series reflects ANOC’s commitment to supporting NOCs in their digital transformation through the Digital Accelerator Program. Additionally, the initiative aligns with the Olympic AI Agenda announced by the IOC in April 2024, which aims to foster innovation and efficiency across the Olympic ecosystem.
