CONI celebrates National Sports Day across the country

The Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) celebrated the National Sports Day on 5 June with sports events and demonstrations taking place around the country.

Under the direction of CONI, in coordination with sports organizations and affiliated sports associations and together with local authorities, the territories were activated in initiatives, events and demonstrations aimed at enhancing the function of sport as a fundamental factor for growth and enrichment of individual, improving the quality of life and empowering and strengthening civil society.
