Japan Olympic Committee unveils new Team emblem

The Japanese Olympic Committee (JOC) has revealed the new Team Emblem during the presentation of its new team brand named “TEAM JAPAN.”

On 27 October 2021, the “TEAM JAPAN” presentation event was held in Tokyo as it was also one hundred days to go for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. The new emblem is composed of symbolized “T” (the Capital of Team) in gold and symbolized “J” (the Capital of Japan) in red surrounding the national flag of Japan and the newly created word mark “TEAM JAPAN” combined together.

The emblem will be on the chest of the official uniforms of the Japanese Delegation starting from Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games, substituting the currently installed JOC Institutional Emblem.
