
IOC Programme Commission meets in Lausanne
The IOC Programme Commission met in Lausanne on 27 June. The Commission covered a full agenda, which included assessing the events for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games as well as a discussion on the IOC New Norm and its impact on the upcoming Games in Tokyo, Beijing and Paris.
The Commission is chaired by Franco Carraro and includes ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg as well as representatives from the IOC, NOCs, International Federations (IFs), athletes and other experts.
The final decision on the new events for Beijing 2022 will be made by the IOC Executive Board at its meeting on 18-20 July.
