ANOC Legal Commission meets at ANOC Headquarters

The ANOC Legal Commission today met at the ANOC Headquarters in Lausanne to discuss a number of initiatives focused on promoting good governance within ANOC.

Led by Commission Chair, Michael Chambers, the key items on the agenda were finalising the drafts of the ANOC Code of Ethics and ANOC Compliance Policy. The documents have been produced as a joint initiative between the ANOC Legal Commission and ANOC Modernisation and Follow Up Commission and come as part of ANOC’s commitment to good governance and transparency. The two drafts were presented to the ANOC Executive Council at the beginning of April and the final versions will be presented for approval at the ANOC General Assembly in Doha. During the meeting, amendments to the ANOC Constitution were also discussed.

The Commission will next meet in Doha in November ahead of the General Assembly.
