Inside the Village: ANOC.tv’s Daily Live Window Into Athletes’ Village Life
Every evening at 9:00 p.m. Riyadh time, the doors of the athletes’ village open to the world with Inside the Village, a new original show broadcast live on ANOC.tv. This exclusive format comes in addition to all the services delivered by the ANOC.tv studios, offering fans a unique, behind-the-scenes look at life in the village during the Games.
Far from the competition venues and podium ceremonies, Inside the Village shines a light on the human side of sport. Athletes and officials join the show to share everyday moments, emotions, and stories from their journey. The set becomes a meeting place where cultures and sports come together, creating a space to revisit key moments from the competition and discover what happens “off the field” inside the village.
One of the most symbolic moments of the show is the celebration of gold medallists. During the programme, newly crowned champions are invited to leave their mark on the Wall of Winners in the village, a powerful ritual that captures their achievements and creates a lasting memory of their time at the Games.
Beyond the village itself, Inside the Village also builds a digital bridge between athletes and their loved ones back home. Through the ANOC.tv platform, families and friends are encouraged to send messages to the athletes via the live chat. Selected messages are read during the show, allowing athletes to feel the support of those who could not travel to the event but are following every moment from afar.
