ANOC & IOC relaunches the NOC Photo Programme for Milano Cortina 2026
ANOC is proud to announce the relaunch of the ANOC-IOC Photo Programme for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, delivered in partnership with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Getty Images.
Originally introduced and launched during the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games, the programme was created to support NOCs with limited delegation size and no dedicated photo coverage on-site.
Building on the success of previous editions, the programme has been designed to further support National Olympic Committees (NOCs) in telling the stories of their athletes throughout the Games. For Milano Cortina 2026, 35 NOCs will benefit from this enhanced service, receiving exclusive, high-quality images of their athletes both in competition and during training sessions, as well as during ceremonies.
The 35 participating NOCs fulfilled the programme requirements, including having qualified no more than 10 athletes for Beijing 2022 (the previous edition) and not having received an EP photographer accreditation. This time, NOCs will financially contribute to the service through a small fee per athlete, making the programme both financially sustainable and more environmentally sustainable than an NOC sending a dedicated photographer.
All participating NOCs will have direct access to their athletes’ images via the Getty Images platform. In addition, ANOC is introducing a new level of automation through the ANOC Digital Content Hub. As soon as a photo of an athlete becomes available, the relevant NOC will receive an automatic notification, significantly reducing turnaround time and enabling faster content sharing.
For 13 NOCs, ANOC is expanding the programme even further by offering tailored, hands-on support. This includes the delivery of ready-to-use post suggestions, written in the language selected by each NOC, to accompany the images. This additional service is designed to help communication teams maximise impact while reducing the operational burden during the intense Games period.
Thanks to this streamlined workflow, NOC communication teams will be able to reshare content across their digital channels in just a few clicks, ensuring timely, consistent, and engaging coverage of their athletes’ performances.
Through this renewed NOC Photo Programme, ANOC reaffirms its commitment to empowering NOCs with innovative digital solutions and practical support, helping them celebrate their athletes and connect with fans around the world during the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.
