ANOC Opens Offices in Milan to Support NOCs Ahead of the Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games
Just days before the Opening Ceremony of the Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games, the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), led by its Secretary General Mrs Gunilla Lindberg and its dedicated Games-time team, has officially opened its offices in Milan at the NH Milano Touring Hotel. This strategic presence underlines ANOC’s strong commitment to supporting National Olympic Committees (NOCs) on the ground during one of the most significant moments of the Olympic cycle.
By establishing its base in Milan, ANOC reinforces its role as a close and reliable partner for NOCs, ensuring direct access, operational support, and effective coordination throughout the Games.
Key Projects Delivered for Milano Cortina
For this new edition of the Olympic Winter Games, ANOC is coordinating two flagship projects designed to deliver tangible benefits to participating NOCs.
PEAK Uniform Project
As part of the PEAK Uniform Project, ANOC will coordinate the distribution of official uniforms to two NOCs, ensuring that delegation members are properly equipped for the Games. This initiative highlights ANOC’s continued commitment to providing concrete support to NOCs and facilitating their participation on the Olympic stage.
Photo Programme in Partnership with the IOC and Getty Images
In parallel, ANOC is delivering a comprehensive Photo Programme in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Getty Images. Through this programme, 35 NOCs and their 112 athletes will receive high-quality competition photographs, enabling them to share Olympic moments and celebrate athletic performances with audiences worldwide.
Furthermore, for 13 NOCs, ANOC will provide an extended community management service. This includes ready-to-use social media posts accompanying the competition images, as well as bespoke visual assets tailored to each NOC’s individual visual identity. This additional support aims to strengthen digital storytelling and enhance the online visibility of athletes and NOCs throughout the Games.
A Strong Presence, A Clear Commitment
With its offices open in Milan and the delivery of targeted Games-time projects, ANOC once again demonstrates its dedication to empowering NOCs before, during, and after the Olympic Games. By combining a strong on-site presence with tailored services, ANOC continues to support NOCs in amplifying their voice and showcasing their athletes on the world’s biggest sporting stage.
