Oman Olympic Academy Concludes Specialized Course on Sports Leadership
Oman Olympic Academy, under Oman Olympic Committee, concluded on Wednesday evening a specialized Sports Leadership Course, organized in cooperation with Olympic Solidarity, under the patronage of Dr. Marwan bin Jumaa Al Jumaa, Board Member of Oman NOC.
The three-day course was delivered by Dr. Ishaq bin Ahmed Al Balushi, Director of Oman Olympic Academy, with the participation of a number of professionals working across various sports institutions and organizations.
The course aimed to develop leadership and administrative skills in the sports sector, promoting modern management practices, sustainability, and good governance to prepare leaders for rapid institutional change.
It emphasized combining theory with practical application to enhance efficiency and support the development of the national sports system. Key topics included human resources, strategic and organizational management, governance, financial management, and the sports industry, delivered through interactive methods.
Participants actively engaged through discussions and experience-sharing, highlighting the value of continuous professional development. At the conclusion, attendees praised the Oman Olympic Academy for the program’s practical impact and its role in strengthening institutional performance across the sports sector.
