100 Days to Go Until the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games
With just 100 days remaining until the opening of the XXV Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, anticipation continues to build across the global sporting community. From 6 to 22 February 2026, Italy will host the world’s finest winter athletes for an event that will celebrate excellence, determination, and the Olympic values of friendship, respect, and solidarity.
Approximately 2,900 athletes representing over 90 National Olympic Committees will compete across 8 sports and 16 disciplines. The programme will feature a total of 116 medal events, comprising 54 men’s, 50 women’s, and 12 mixed events, reflecting the ongoing commitment to gender balance and inclusivity in sport.
Competitions will take place across 13 venues, distributed within four clusters: Milano, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Valtellina, and Val di Fiemme. Each location will showcase Italy’s rich sporting tradition and its exceptional natural and urban landscapes, offering a unique setting for both athletes and spectators.
