ANOC.tv Studio Launches Sports Photography Workshop at Riyadh 2025 in Partnership with Team Saudi, Riyadh 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games and ISSA

In partnership with Team Saudi, the Riyadh 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games, and the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA), ANOC.tv is launching a Sports Photography Workshop for aspiring local photographers in Saudi Arabia.
This initiative will take place during the Islamic Solidarity Games Riyadh 2025, from 3 to 21 November 2025, offering a unique opportunity for participants to develop their technical and artistic skills while exploring the cultural and emotional dimensions of sport.
Led by international sports photographer Annice Lyn, the workshop aims to inspire and empower young talents to tell powerful visual stories that celebrate athletes, communities, and shared human experiences.
Fostering Creativity and Visual Storytelling through Sport
The programme is designed to strengthen the skills of local photographers working in the dynamic environment of a major international sporting event. Through a combination of theoretical learning, hands-on practice, and feedback sessions, participants will:
  • Enhance their technical and artistic photography skills;
  • Gain insight into ethical editing and authentic representation;
  • Learn how to tell diverse and meaningful stories through sport;
  • Contribute to digital content creation for ANOC.tv and their National Olympic Committees (NOCs).
A Comprehensive Programme Combining Learning and Practice
The workshop will include:
  • A four-hour in-person session on 3 November in Riyadh;
  • Photo assignments at competition venues and the ANOC.tv Studio;
  • Follow-up feedback sessions on 7, 11, 15, and 19 November (1–1.5 hours each).
This voluntary, non-remunerated programme aims to inspire, mentor, and showcase local talent, while giving participants first-hand experience in covering a major international sports event.
Applications Open Until 22 October 2025
Interested photographers are invited to apply via the online application form by 22 October 2025.
